Biography
Dr. Andrew Newman is a sports chiropractor earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic – West (PCCW). Soon after graduating he became a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP®). He was active in the PCCW Sports Council and treated athletes at multiple sporting events. Upon returning to the NW he has treated athletes at many local events ranging from the Seattle Marathon and STP to local CrossFit competitions.
He believes that a patient’s care can only be as good as the assessment they receive. He is certified in multiple biomechanic/movement assessments that he utilizes in conjunction with traditional orthopedic and neurologic testing to create a more complete picture of not only what is going on, but how it began in the first place and how to help prevent it in the future. He utilizes chiropractic spinal and extremity adjustments, and integrates various manual therapy techniques to release muscles and other soft-tissues. He is a firm believer in incorporating rehabilitative exercise in his treatment plans to help empower the patient in reaching their goals and facilitating long term success and performance. This keeps them out of the office and out doing the things they love.
He lives in the local area with his wife Tiawna, their sons Brooks & Rhett, and their dog Velly.
