About Us
Our Approach
Our mission is to get you from where you are to where you want to be, while giving you the knowledge and practical tools to keep you there.
Motus Sport and Spine takes a progressive approach to chiropractic care. We are all about patient empowerment and independence. We are passionate about teaching you how to take care of yourself so that you can keep yourself out of the office. We have a strong emphasis on rehab and focus quite a bit on movement quality and biomechanics to build strength and resilience, as many injuries are from poor postural and movement habits. We blend sports chiropractic care, sports medicine, functional rehabilitation, soft-tissue therapies, and kinesiology tape to create the most efficient and effective treatment plan to fit your unique needs and goals.
This approach allows us to target all aspects of human movement: joints, soft tissues (muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia), and the neurologic system. Our whole body approach allows us not only to treat the symptoms, but figure out why and how they began and address those regions as well. Our goal is to help transition you from being reactive and dependent to proactive and independent.

How many sessions will it take?
Each person is different. We tailor the frequency and duration of sessions for each individual based on their condition and their goals with care. When you get to the point where you no longer need regular sessions, we will cut back your visits to what you can tolerate to keep your body healthy and functioning properly or release you from care.
How long do appointments take?
Your initial visit is typically 45-60 minutes in length. Follow-ups can vary but usually range 15-45 minutes long – about 15 minutes with your doctor and 15-30 minutes with our rehabilitation specialist. These are estimates and ultimately appointment times depend on what condition(s) we are treating and what your goals are.
